Chapter 1

O.K. guys, this is the first chapter of the book.

The story begins in England but quickly moves to Narnia...
Eustace finds Jill behind the gym crying because the school bullies are being mean to her.  The school is a very unusual one in which bullies are allowed to mistreat others without any interference from the school masters.  The idea that everyone should be allowed to do whatever they want is the school’s philosophy.  Eustace cheers her up by telling her about his secret adventures in Narnia.  They see the bullies coming after them and they run to a door in the garden wall which is usually locked.  But this time it isn’t.  They go through and Eustace realizes he has entered Narnia again.  It is autumn in England but spring or summer in Narnia.  They approach the edge of a very steep, high cliff.  Jill tries to show off because she knows Eustace is afraid of heights.  Eustace tries to pull Jill away from the edge but he falls off instead. Jill turns around and she sees a lion.
This probably is the most boring beginning in all the books.  Eustace falling off the cliff really caught my attention, sarcasm, if you didn't catch it.  Bullies calling Jill, Pole all the time isn't really all that bad.  My name is Sollid and do I get made fun of, no.  Seriously, bullies, you really do need to work a lot harder to come up with something.
But the bottom line is ZERO tolerance for bullying.
